Details on Publicity through IW
Please send us only confirmed information. We may not be able to make corrections because our time is limited and we also do not want to blanket our members with email.
Interfaith Works has some capacity to publicize non-IW events and activities that are of interest to people outside a single faith community/organization, but this is limited because our two half-time staff have many other tasks that are central to IW's mission.
Paid Ads in the newsletter are a bargain at $10 per 3"x2" space per month. See Ads in the IW Newsletter for more information.

- For best results, email information to InterfaithWorks@comcast.net by noon on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, 2-6 weeks before the event.
- List any website that has more details, since our space is so limited -- and include a phone contact for people who do not use the internet.
- If an event is sponsored by an IW member organization, please be sure to include that -- IW members get priority for our limited time and space.
- Please use italics or ALL CAPITALS for emphasis (we use boldface only for IW events).
- If you include an email address that you do not want to receive spam, use the format myloginname AT myprovider.com and we will not include a link on our webpage.
We are occasionally able to send out an email update to our member organizations and program council when an event was not listed in our newsletter. We keep this to a minimum both because of time restraints on IW staff and to respect those who want fewer emails. Be aware that information sent after Thursday morning is unlikely to be passed on at weekend faith community gatherings.
We welcome submission of articles for the IW newsletter. Email an article of 50-300 words (including author, suggested headlines, and any possible photos or graphics up to 8 square inches) to InterfaithWorks@comcast.net by the 2nd Tuesday of the month. We may need to edit or delay an article, depending on space available.
We may be able to publicize more events on our website when we again have a volunteer to help maintain the website; see VolOpps page for details on volunteer opportunities.
