MISSION: JOY

Interfaith Works and Meaningful Movies Project (Olympia Chapter) are proud to present: “Mission Joy: finding happiness in troubled times.”  This documentary from 2021 celebrates the interfaith friendship between His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu while exploring the science-backed wisdom of how to live with joy in troubled times.

The film will be followed by a panel featuring regional Tibetan Buddhist teacher, Geshe Jamyang Tsultrim (founder of The Nalanda Institute in Olympia) and Sr. Anna-Camille Wooden OSB, a sister in the Order of St. Benedict and lives in the community of St. Placid Priory in Lacey, WA.
