AN OPPORTUNITY FOR YOUTH Build community and awareness for people experiencing homelessness in our region through empathy-building exercises facilitated by trained staff from Interfaith Works’ Homeless Services. SLEEP OUTSIDE IN IMPROVISED SHELTERS Youth will sleep outside in temporary shelters they build from materials they bring to the event (tarps, cardboard, etc.). They are welcome to bring sleeping pads, pillows, and sleeping bags, but not tents (more details on this will be supplied). SAFE AND SUPERVISED The shelters will be in the grassy lot on the north end of Westminster’s property with on-site supervision and access to the facilities in the church at all times. EVENT DETAILS
